About XactaClaim email
When email is configured for a workspace, XactaClaim may send claim-related email notifications such as client updates, reminders, or other transactional messages tied to an active claim file. Email delivery depends on Resend or other configured providers, recipient availability, and applicable consent settings. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Consent and notification preferences
Workspace users may record verbal email notification consent when creating or managing a claim. Clients may also confirm, update, or revoke email notification preferences in the client portal when that feature is enabled.
Revoked email notification preferences may block routine client email notifications sent through the Service.
Messages not governed by client preferences
Certain explicit one-off emails to third-party recipients — such as demand delivery to a carrier, attorney, or other directed recipient, or team invitation emails — may not be governed by client portal notification preferences.
Inbound email replies
Inbound email replies from clients are not automatically captured in the claim timeline unless manually added or handled by a specific supported workflow.
